About Me

Hi, my name is Jan Abel, and I’m a senior at Galesburg High School. At school, I’m theEditor in Chief of the school newspaper (The GHS Budget) the Vice President of the FrenchHonors Society, co-captain of The Speaking Streaks, and an executive member of the InterACTClub, as well as a member of NHS and Acappella Choir. In choir, I’m an Alto II, and havequalified for the regional level twice, and the state level once. In my free time, I like to docalligraphy, play video games, and write for The Burg. A couple interesting facts about me: Iwork as a Sunday School teacher, I’ve been in the Performing Arts Academy for nine years andmy favorite baseball team is the Chicago Cubs. I joined CEO to work on growing my smallbusiness. In the future, I’d love to double major in English and Communications as well as run asmall business!
