CEOs had the privilege of meeting with Sarah Grant of the Galesburg Community Foundation (also a Knox County IL CEO Board Member), to learn the ins and outs of the Non-Profit world.
Sarah shared how the GCF manages and distributes money to organizations throughout a wider than just Galesburg area, of over $50,000,000.
The money has all been donated by people who have an interest in seeing our local communities and organizations thrive.
GCF oversees 225 different funds.
Every year, GCF hosts an event, The Turnout, where $500,000 is distributed in a grant giveaway.
