“It’s fun to go to the YMCA!”
CEOs took a visit to the Knox County YMCA to hear from CEO, Adam Sampson, and Director of Member Services, Melissa Bryant. They both shared the various roles that the Y plays in our community at different times of the day: Sr. Center, Youth Center, Childcare, and a Family Center. They both mentioned the importance of building relationships with the 120 employees and the almost 900 members and visitors that come to the Y everyday. As the CEO, Adam most enjoys giving the people he is in contact with the tools to succeed.
Melissa loves helping people deal with issues such as daycare and finances, along with hiring staff and watching them grow in their abilities. Thanks Adam and Melissa for helping the CEOs realize the importance of culture and “stacking wins” on a consistent basis!
