CEOs had the honor of hearing from the owner of one of the longest running family owned businesses in Galesburg/Knox County, Dick Lindstrom.
Lindstrom’s TV & Appliance has been in business since 1925, this being their 100th year!
Dick said their keys to success have been in their ability to be nimble, changing from phonograph record sales, to radios and radio equipment, to TVs, appliances and now including mattresses.
Quite the range over those 100 years.
Dick also talked about the importance of hiring quality individuals that buy into the Team concept. Most importantly, he shared the focus on Serving his customers with local service, unlike a big box store that provides no ongoing service after the purchase of a large product.
Lindstrom’s truly takes care of those who choose to do business with them.
